PSEA Awards “Public School Parent of the Year”

March 30th, 2008 | by BGuzzardi |

PSEA, Pennsylvania School Employees Association, the teachers’ union, awarded government school parent of the year. About 22 billion dollars a year, compared to about an estimated $1.5 billion including Catholic schools) on non government schools.  So, golf outings would be appropriate for an enterprise of this size.  FYI – Simon Campbell is being facetious; he was not voted “public school parent of the year.”  Simon’s comment:

“I would like to thank the PSEA officials for their generous award of public school parent of the year. However, I will only accept this award on behalf of the value the union officials bring to our children’s education.  I particularly thank them for the free pass to this year’s Lederach Golf outing – where public education is being swung to the next level”
