Will a mandated, universal health care system work as well as the mandated, universal K-12 “thorough and efficient system of public education.
The government monopoly educational system is overpriced and inefficiently allocates resources, sucking earnings and investments of productive people from economy, reducing the resources available to creativity of individual initiative which innovates and produces goods and services we all want and need.
Competition and choice are key to quality and affordability and the incentive to individual initiative to create ways and means to deliver goods and services to all of us. The Conceit of the Planner, our benevolent, and much smarter, betters.
