Republicans Lose by Going to Center

An outstanding analysis by Richard Viguerie with some electoral history. Ronald Reagan wins for Republicans. Note Dwight D. Eisenhower’s disastrous impact on the Republican Party. Let me get this straight: If a political party wants to win, it needs to stay smack dab in the political center? Richard Viguerie points out that Barack Obama did not win by going to the center; he had the most Left Wing voting record in the Senate and Joe Biden had the third most Left Wing voting record. John McCain and Hillary Clinton were centrist, center right, center left, respectively and they lost.
The Democrats are the party of communists, centralized government command and control of the means of finance and the means of production and the Republicans need to be the party of the producer, the worker, the saver, the investor and The Forgotten Taxpayer, Constitutional, Limited Government, Rule of Law, Free Markets for Free People and traditional values of justice, honesty, and respect for the rights and property of others.
Dick Morris points out that there is a time for triangulation ( a word he made up ) and a time for confrontation; a time to build coalitions and a time to confront the opposition.
Pat Buchanan, not one of my favorites, makes similar points
and recommends focusing on a few issues which seems right to me.
