AMT: Not Indexed A Stealth Taxes

October 8th, 2009 | by BGuzzardi |

taxgirl , from Philadelphia, comments on the AMT.  Taxes are not indexed for inflation which is controlled by Central Bank, the Federal Reserve, a creation of the central government in Washington, DC. As inflation increases, the productive earning and investing Forgotten Taxpayer is moved into higher tax brackets so that without raising tax rates, taxes are increased on us and on the “real” economy of goods and services that we are willing to pay for.
