I take what I want, who is going to stop me?
How does taking money from The Forgotten Taxpayer and giving to favored business as a subsidy increase productivity or increase the net worth of the common wealth. Maybe The Forgotten Taxpayer had other, and even better, uses for this money. What justifies the taking of money from one private citizen, who has done nothing wrong, and giving to another private citizen who has done nothing to deserve it? Like a thief, the government takes what it wants. Gov. Ed Rendell said Tuesday that the state and the company are in negotiations about the incentive package anticipated to be between $15 million to $20 million.
