PA Milk Board: We’re Not Expanding

December 14th, 2009 | by BGuzzardi |

Pennsylvania’s milk board and Pennsylvania’s milk producers are a government cartel that raises the price of milk to mothers with babies. What is the point of that? The purpose of production is consumption and raising prices by government fiat does not benefit the consumer. Letting government control milk prices expands the power of government in our lives. The goal is to reduce, not expand, the size of government and let the free market work, a system based on social cooperation and mutual, voluntary beneficial exchange.
