Bonusgate: High Level Republican Harrisburg Insiders Resign

November 6th, 2009 | by BGuzzardi |

Paul Scolforo of Harrisburg AP breaks this story: High level Harrisburg Establishment Insider Republican Brett Feese resigns after receiving invitation to appear at Bonusgate Grand Jury as does Al Bowman, a high level and powerful Republican House staffer. The rumors are strong that former Speaker of the House Republican John Perzel and his former campaign manager (see story about questioning Perzel Preski use of campaign funds)  and close legislative aide are rumored to be indicted by Attorney General in Bonusgate investigation, probably, one of the most significant scandals in Pennsylvania political history.  I have commented on John Perzel’s use of state funds to buy a computer program used for private, political campaign to maintain power of incumbents.

FYI the Inquirer appears to have rewritten the AP story. Note attribution at end and compare. GrassRootsPA is an aggregator that picked up this story.

Perzel’s power needs to be “deleted”. Ed.
