Richard Viguerie: War for the Heart and Soul of the GOP has Begun

It may be time for Specter Republicans to follow their leader into the Democratic Party. This may well energize the Democrats with a different but not hostile view to State control of the economy. The Republican Party will become the party of Constitutional Limited Government, Free Markets, Free Trade, Economic Freedom, Traditional Values and the Democratic Party will be the Party of the Statist and Collectivist European Welfare State.
The clarity will sharpen the debate and may well be best for all Americans. The Republicans will become party of the Free Market, Tax Producers and the Democrats will be party of those who want to use government to get rich, the Earmarkers and the Porkers.
