Republican Party of Pennsylvania: Resolution on Card Check

January 6th, 2010 | by BGuzzardi |

The Informed Voter is our Ally and it is evident that the media is not giving this issue the attention it deserves just as it has ignored international Climategate issue and Pennsylvania’s Bonusgate issue. Pat Toomey has consistently articulated the case against Card Check as a job killer on many occasions for many years and Pat Toomey even caused Arlen Specter to flip on the issue and then leave the Republican Party. All the Republican 6th District Candidates, and job creating small businesses,  oppose Card  Check and all the Union financed Democrats support it.

It seems to me that every  Municipal and County Republican Committee in Pennsylvania would be well advised to adopt GOP State Committee’s Card Check Resolution.

Card check crushes small business  and   the independent competitive, free market contractor. I think any Candidates who take union campaign contributions need to be scrutinized very carefully. Why would any Republican Committee not oppose Card Check which eliminates the Secret Ballot, allows the imposition of contracts on private businesses by government bureaucrats and which encourages union intimidation of workers and small business people. The Union “organizer” can come to every worker’s home to ‘ask’ for support.  “Intimidation goes a long way” Mr. Clemente lays it out at about two minutes.

And those candidates taking the Big Government Pennsylvania State Education Association (teachers’ unions) would be disqualified for support by Republican Committees  whose support of Prevailing Wage drives up cost of school construction and hammers The Forgotten Taxpayer.
